Exactly two weeks ago I snapped this low-fi street shot along Bloor St West. CD Replay had vanished from the neighbourhood and the ghosts in the upstairs apt windows seemed the perfect accessory to the empty-eyed street level storefront.
I hadn't posted the photo because I wanted to re-shoot the scene with a different camera. When I remembered today, I strolled past to find the entire storefront redesigned, modernized, chrome-slick and glossy -- near ready for its new tenant. The ghosts upstairs were laughing just as hard.
