This shot was taken back in July (just developed the film) at an outdoor exhibit in Mississauga. It was a miserably rainy weekend and the few people who came out just got absolutely soaked -- as did a few of my pieces. Today I kick off a 3-day show in Toronto's Cabbbagetown and, sure enough, the rain has decided to give us its blessing once again. Looks like it won't last, but instead of risk ruining more work in the damp tent, I'm going to leave the large framed works at home for day 1. Come by on Saturday to see the full show in action.
(and in the meanwhile, do your best no-rain dance for me...)
Upcoming exhibits: Cabbagetown Arts & Crafts Sale: Sept 5-7, Riverdale Park West | Queen West Art Crawl: Sept 13-14, Trinity Bellwoods Park | More show details at doublecrossed.ca/summer
