//Long gone dry cleaner on Dupont St in Toronto.

I meant for months to take this photo after seeing the shadows pour through the window on a bike ride a year ago. Still, every time I was around, it was the wrong time of day for those melancholy long shadows. Earlier this summer, riding by, I saw the scene set perfectly, stopped and snapped a few long awaited photos. Going by yesterday, I found the whole spot is under renovation and being gutted. got the shot in time. Sadly, it doesn't always work out for me that way.

Today, I'll be showing my work from 10am-6pm at Toronto's Trinity Bellwoods Park (Booth D5) for the Queen West Art Crawl. See you there. More details at doublecrossed.ca/summer
