And in unrelated news(a smaller thrill of equal value), the repair shop says that my 40D just had a little dirt in its eye (like I thought). It's all cleared up and I should be picking it up today. Thanks for sending all the luck/love. The other cam is still in surgery but hopefully it'll pull through.
