Lou's was my much anticipated breakfast stop yesterday. While I've traveled most of Route 66 over the last 5 years, I've never actually started from the very beginning, so I made a point of visiting the Windy City stretch of it during my time there this week. Lou's is, hands-down, the quintessential stop. Beyond the beautiful neon, the staff here are just about the friendliest people you'll ever meet and, yes, the food is GREAT.
