//beautiful art deco architecture in South Beach, Miami, FL. (Kodachrome 64)
This simple photograph is probably my favourite of all my slides from the Kodachrome-inspired road trip I took to Miami recently. The way the film can perfectly render the highlights and shadows of a bright sunny day in South Beach just floors me... and don't even get me started on the colour. None of the digital colour pictures had the anything close to the atmosphere these do.
My first reaction to the images remains true even after reviewing them large-scale: I may never photograph Miami with other media and truly be satisfied with the results after this.
Kodachrome is dead. Long live Kodachrome.
