//San Francisco, CA. 2005.
This shot was taken years ago when I first started road-tripping and documenting the fading neon landscape in North America. Most of the shots from this particular trip have lay dusty in the archives as the quality wasn't always up to snuff (my Nikon from that era was unreliable mess). Upon digging into those folders, I did find a few worth revisiting though -- this being one. I'll have a print of it at this weekend's show.
The 9th Annual Queen West Art Crawl in Trinity Bellwoods Park (Toronto).
September 17-18th, 2011, 11am-6pm.
You can find me in booth E16 -- just along the path into the park from the corner of Queen West & Gore Vale Ave.
This year I will showing my North American Neons collection, recently exhibited at Ottawa's Terence Robert Gallery & Toronto's Salon Bespoke. Expect large resin editions along with matted prints of various neons, marquees and other buzzing night lights of the past.
