//the invincible, Dana Lee. (Fuji X100)
Years ago when I was majoring in radio (really) at R.U., Dana was an 8:00AM lecture on tech/theory. If it were anyone else, I would have sent a tape recorder in my place (I'm *really* not a morning person), but his class was always a treat. I've even kept the textbook (which he wrote, mind you) to this day.
So then, when I picked up this vintage crystal mic at an antique market and wanted to figure out how to get the input modified to work with my computer, Dana was the first person I thought of. After tagging him in a Facebook post, not only did he dig up the dirt on its history, he offered to rewire it himself -- for the fun of it. And rewire it he did. It's sitting on my desk right now, ready for its Skype debut. He is incredible and I am thrilled to know him.
