//Stephanie celebrating the 30D's arrival in the Spadina Station corridor.
Last night was my first night out with the new Canon 30D. Boy, is it heavy compared to my other equip. I will have rippling bicepts/forcepts by the end of the month.
One of the main draws to switching to Canon was the low-light capabilities of this model. I don't do a lot of sunny day/wildlife/flower/landscape work, so low-light quality was a top priority. This photo was the final test of the evening. Seeing as jumping pictures have always been reserved for sunny days, I wanted to see if I could freeze action in the dim flourescent light of Spadina Station. Mission accomplished. (if you're curious, settings were: ISO 1250, f4.0, and 1/125 shutter on the Sigma 10-20mm lens. Hoo.)
