//Stem Restaurant on Queen St West. (Voigtlander Bessa)

Oh how I wish Stem was open late... but, of course, they've probably preserved their vintage interior by doing exactly the opposite -- closing up before the rowdy crowd pours in.

Mildly related news: Variety Magazine, out today, includes a double-page spread featuring fellow blogTO writers and myself.  We were invited on board by editors there to give Film Fest visitors an insiders look at the city for their special TIFF edition.  Yep, I covered FOOD.  Check out the piece or just grab your wallet and head to Torito's (Kensington Market) or the Rushton (St. Clair/Christie).  Your tongue can thank me later.  (That was more suggestive than intended...)
