If there's one thing I can't stand it's paparazzi, but now I realize there's an even more abnoxious beast -- the wannabe paparazzi. All these up-and-coming celeb obsessed dorks hanging from trees and knocking people with their battery-pack-ridden SLR cameras. I feel embarrassed just watching them in action.
Regular folks with camera phones can be just as pathetic of course, as this TIFF scene shows off. There was no one notable anywhere in sight but people saw a mob and had to join it... each scrambling for a few of the nothing. In a couple minutes, the crowd had tripled and no one knew why they were standing there (yes, we had to go over and do a quick survey).
