As I plotted out a day in Venice for the upcoming trip, I came across some images that reminded me of photos I'd taken in Montreal a couple years ago. One thing led to another and now here I am wading through the 2004 photo archive. Few more up on flickr.
This is one of many wooden statues and icons in the cathedral - made locally, i believe, with their own distinct style.
