//Drag king performing at Genderfukt! Drag & Burlesque. (Canon 30d)
Yes, a little break from processing Europe photos. This is from almost a week ago, when I photographed Genderfukt!.. easily Toronto's best drag (king) and burlesque night. I'm usually around to shoot it for the organizers, but having missed a couple shows for various reasons over the last year, there were a lot of new faces (like this one) to take in.
The location is a downside (for me, not the show) because their lighting is painfully dim, and as you may know, I am not a fan of flash. To boot, 15 minutes in, my flash absolutely gave up. Thankfully, in that time away, I'd switched to my Canon... so with 1600 ISO ability and a semi-decent built-in/emergency flash, all things become possible again.
