//Hank, who runs the hand-operated antique elevator at the Gladstone Hotel.
At the bottom of the stairwell on my way out of the Gladstone Hotel, I noticed Hank wasn't busy so I asked if I could snap a photo. He obliged and told me that lots of folks have been taking photos with him and the elevator these days -- people from all over the world, coming to Toronto to see the restored vintage wonder in action (the elevator, not Hank.. hah!) It really is a beauty.
I wish I had my portrait lens on the camera at that moment -- instead of a super wide lens -- but you capture what you can.
NEWS: A little profile on yours truly appears in the Ryersonian this week.
