//Stella Luna storefront in Parkdale.
Spent much of the afternoon taking photos along Queen West (West) & Roncesvalles for an upcoming blogTO project today. Will be heading back tomorrwo for more -- and likely returning to Stella Luna for their clearance sale.
NEWS: For a few months now, I've been waiting for news of my application to North America's biggest outdoor art show, the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. Last year, Sean & I, who were exhibiting together, were selected and had a tremendous run. We met all kinds of fantastic people (many of you reading this), showed off some of our best work, and amazingly, sold lots of art.
This year, having grown so much as artists, we decided to apply solo, Sean with his urban exploration work and I with Circa: An Urban Retrospect. My plan was to showcase the book, the travelling show and debut some original one-of-a-kind vintage framed works as well as new prints on canvas... it was just a matter of being chosen by the jury.
Today, a letter in the mail confirmed that, yes, I'm IN and I have an absolutely AMAZING booth spot. Fall-off-my-chair amazing. July 6, 7 & 8 you can find me at booth 327... the corner spot on Queen St West at the west entrance to Nathan Phillips. See the map here.
