The first march I ever saw was this one in New York. My 'state-of-the-art' digital point & shoot back then looked more like a bubble than a camera, but that didn't stop me from trying to document the day as it unfolded. One of these days I hope to revisit this scene and capture it through changed eyes (and a better lens). Looking at this photo though, I realize not enough has changed around us. If I went back to for today's march, I might come home with strikingly similar images.
